Be Sure To Dress For The Weather

During the months of November, December and January it is important to  remember that it gets pretty cold and very damp on the river at night.  Be sure to layer your clothing, that way  you can take off or add to as needed.  But as it gets colder you will need coveralls to keep warm.  Good non-slip waterproof boots will sure come in handy also.  As far as gloves are concerned, unless they are thin and tight you will probably not wear them because they will hamper your ability to hold the gig pole and direct your aim.
Be sure to check the weather map to know exactly how to prepare.
