Information about Guided Trips
All Guided trips will leave the Winona/Birch Tree area around 4pm and return around midnight. During the months of November, December and January, trips will leave around 3pm due to the time change.
There are many areas along the Current River that we can gig on, depending on the time of year and the weather.
From the Winona/Birch Tree area we will be traveling approximately 1 hour to the location of choice for the evening. Once there, we will unload the boat and build a campfire.
Only 2 persons other than the driver of the boat and the guide will be allowed on the boat at one time. In case of more than two people, the guide will take out 2 and return for 2 more later.
There are four packages to choose from:
Pkg. #1 1 or 2 Person/1 Night
Pkg. #2 3 or 4 Person/1 Night
Pkg. #3 1 or 2 Person/2 Nights
Pkg. #4 3 or 4 Person/2 Nights
All Trips include:
Transportation from the Winona/Birch Tree area to the river and back.
All supplies needed to gig fish
All camp supplies needed for campfire, cooking prep and lighting
All food for a 1st class fish fry
Pictures and/or video of entire evening
An unforgettable evening gigging on the Current River
