About Me

I have lived in the Ozarks of Missouri my whole life. I grew up gigging on the Current River. When I was a boy, I couldn't wait for the middle of September when gigging season started. Gigging suckers in the rivers of the Ozarks is a family tradition for most people who live around here. Not to mention the competition! All of my children have gigged since they were big enough to stand on the front of the boat. It is something I hope to pass on to my grandchildren as well.
